Story of CIOMajlis

The CIOMajlis was established in 2016 by Smartworld under the patronage of His  Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority,  Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline  & Group.

Being a semi government company, a joint venture between Dubai Aviation City  Corporation and Etisalat, Smartworld giving back to the community is a priority.  Therefore, Smartworld formed this initiative as part of its corporate social  responsibility to have a significant impact on individuals, companies and the wider  community.

CIOMajlis functions first, as a networking platform for Technology Executives, and  as a thought leadership forum. It allows its members to extend their network and  share industry insights with like-minded peers, professionals and leaders, whilst  providing them access to latest and most relevant technology topics.

Furthermore, through the various strategic partnerships and ecosystems across  the public and private sectors, CIOMajlis is the forum to share best practices, build  capabilities and leverage collaboration.
