Measuring the performance of IT departments is essential for understanding the value that technology investments are providing to an organization. The ability to track performance and measure outcomes allows CIOs to make data-driven decisions and ensure that IT initiatives align with business goals. To gain insight into how CIOs are measuring IT performance, we conducted a survey of Chief Information Officers (CIOs). In this report, we will share the findings of our survey, including the most used performance metrics, the challenges CIOs face when measuring performance, and their strategies for using performance data to drive decision-making.
